Public Presentation of the Nigerian Maritime Industry Forecast for 2019 – 2020

Jonathan India-Garba and the Deputy Director, Cabotage and Shipping Development, Federal Ministry of Transportation, Mrs Gloria Adie-Ayabie, during the public presentation of Nigeria maritime industry forecast for 2019-2020 in Lagos on Tuesday.

For two years in a row, The Nigerian Maritime and Safety Agency has taken the lead as Maritime Sector Regulator and the Sector’s Development Promoter to provide a guide to investment in the sector for 2019 and 2020; emanating from a fact-based analysis of global trends and domestic government policies.

This year’s forecast presentation themed “Harnessing the Shipping and Maritime Sector for Sustainable Growth” was held on Tuesday, January 29th 2019 at Eko Hotel & Suites and The African Shipowners Association was present.
